That’s the snappy new catchphrase that Health and Human Services (HHS) is using to encourage patients to request copies of their medical records. There has been a great emphasis in the healthcare world lately on the “Triple Aim” of reducing costs, providing better care, and improving the health of populations. Patients who have access to their health information and then use it constructively can contribute to these goals by monitoring their conditions, checking for errors in their records, and even allowing their health information to be used for research.
